Wayne is Portfolio Manager at Bioindustrial Innovation Canada, Principal at BBP Consulting Inc., Entrepreneur in Residence at Haltech Regional Innovation Centre and Chair at Polar Sapphire.

Wayne’s expertise lies in investment portfolio management and operational management of technology-based companies. He has experience with venture capital backed companies as well as private and public companies and significant experience in start-up or turnaround situations including fundraising, reorganization, and exit strategy. Wayne’s areas of interest are bio-and advanced materials, precision manufacturing, recycling, waste to energy and medical devices.

Wayne holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Toronto. Since 1985 he has held senior executive management positions with technology-based businesses.
